Dr Silviya Dimitrova is a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, working with children and young people. She trained at Tavistock Clinic, in a team that specialises in treating young people who suffer from stress and anxiety, depression, self-harm, problems with friends, family and other relationships, including difficult early life experiences, abuse, neglect or trauma.
Her Professional Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (DProf)’s research project explores therapeutic experiences with young people who engage in harmful sexual behaviour.
She is a member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP).
