Since the Centre was founded, one of our key objectives has been to further the understanding of young people’s mental health and the benefits of psychoanalytic talking therapies.
We have an active research team comprising of research psychologists, psychotherapists and psychoanalysts.
Alongside research projects that are aimed to further our understanding of young people, our research team also measures the impact of our treatment on young people and their families.
To ensure we provide the highest quality treatment, a young person will be asked to complete a set of questionnaires during the assessment process, and then at certain points in their treatment. These help us in understanding a young person’s difficulties and and also assess how effective our treatment is.
Our staff have published a number of books and papers. More information about our published work can be found on our publications page.
